PATTERNS for PIECED QUILTS

All of the following patterns have been written exclusively for PERFECT SQUARE. 

Each pattern INCLUDES the PERFECT SQUARE sheets necessary to make the quilt. 

PICTORIAL QUILTS

These look difficult but use simple pieces and can be made by all skill levels including brave beginners. The patterns can be used to create a simple garden from your favorite fabrics ... or ... use it as a starting point to create a masterpiece with elaborate quilting, beads and baubles, silk ribbon embroidery, buttons, decorative threads, lace, whatever your little heart desires. This is your quilt, be as creative as you want, make it your own.

MEMORY QUILT PATTERNS

These quilts are a series designed for signature or memory quilts. The center of each block can be signed, filled with art work or photos or used to show off a wonderful piece or collection of fabric. The rest of the block acts as a frame. These quilt patterns can be used by all skill levels.

These traditional favorites are easier to create using the PERFECT SQUARE© method for making half square triangles.

OTHER TRADITIONAL QUILTS

It is imperative that the pieces of the following traditional pieced quilts are cut exact.  Inaccuracy due to template variation as it gets used or fabric stretching or slipping as it is being marked will cause the quilt to ripple.  Using MAGIC TEMPLATE will eliminate this problem.  Simply place the transfer face down on the fabric and run a hot iron over it for a few seconds and VOILA!!  All the pieces are PERFECTLY drawn in a matter of minutes and each has 1/4" seam allowance.  They can either be cut with scissors or a rotary cutter.

DRUNKARD'S PATH

There are sooo many ways this quilt can be put together, the possibilities     are endless.  Curved piecing can be a challenge but the results are worth the effort.

MAGIC HEXAGON

Use this pattern to make Grandmother's Flower Garden and get all the drawing completed in no time at all.  

Pattern contains transfers for both 1" finished and 2" finished pieces.

TRIANGLE PYRAMID

Traipse through tons of triangles in a tenth of the time it takes for tea.  NO DRAWING!!  Simply iron the transfer onto the fabric and start cutting.  

This pattern makes a great SAW TOOTH BORDER, too.

TRAPEZOID TANGO

Want each piece to be perfect so your quilt top lays flat?  Want to get all the pieces marked quickly and easily.  Using the Magic Template iron-on transfer will get the tedious work done fast so you can get back to quilting.

Use this pattern for a nice BORDER for another quilt.

MINI QUILT PATTERNS

Mini quilts can be intimidating because accuracy is so important. Each of these mini quilt patterns includes one sheet of PERFECT SQUARE for making the half square triangles. PERFECT SQUARE improves accuracy because the pieces are sewn together before the fabric is cut. This lowers the risk of fabric stretching and pieces becoming distorted. These quilt can be made by all skill levels.
